Katherine Elizabeth Adsmond, 83, of Mesa, AZ, died on April 23, 2023. Katherine was born in New York, New York, on August 27th, 1939, to William and Rose Bantz. She attended school in New York City. In her early life she enjoyed scuba diving and became the first certified female diver in New York State. She followed her love of exploration and nature and moved to Washington State. Katherine worked for the Boeing Company was very proud to have worked on the NASA Space Shuttle Program. Katherine enjoyed photography, hiking, skiing and was a phenomenal artist. She also loved traveling around the country camping with her family. She is survived by her daughter Rosemarie and husband Wade Weiss and grand-daughter Jocelyn Weiss.
