Karl Spellmeyer, beloved father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend, passed away unexpectedly on October 12, 2025, at the age of 69.
Karl was born on September 19, 1956 at the Navy Hospital in San Diego, California. He was loved by all who knew him.
He is survived by his son William (Deven) Spellmeyer, daughter Tiffany (Seth) Johnson, stepdaughter Crystal (Tim) Leyba; grandchildren Aryn, Alaska, Savanna, Adrianna, Morrison, Jaelynn, Logan, Brayden, Yeshua, Daken, Isaiah, Sarah, and Zelda; mother Linda Schultz, sisters Kathy and April, and brothers Joe, Eric, and Woodie. He was preceded in death by his father William Spellmeyer, stepfather Richard Schultz, and brother James Robinson.
Karl served in the Air Force as a Liquid Fuels Systems Maintenance Specialist during Vietnam. He was also an electrician and a bar tender for many years. He loved his country, eagles, and the Broncos (whether they were winning or losing).
A private family service will be held at Fort Logan National Cemetery on Thursday, October 30th, followed by a memorial service and reception for friends and family at Littleton Baptist Church (1400 W. Caley Ave., Littleton, CO 80120), with Dr. Mike Sproul officiating.
