The story of Joseph
Joe was a loving and caring husband, father, and medical professional. He passed away peacefully in his sleep at home in Westminster, CO on May 9th, 2023 after a long illness. Joe was born to Natale & Giovanna nee Cannizzo Cirino on April 14th, 1962 in Queens N.Y. After graduating high school Joe entered into the Jocobi Medical Center Paramedic program class #13. At the time he was the youngest medic to graduate at just 18 years old. Joe worked at a job he loved and excelled at for St.lukes Roosevelt Hospital on the upper West side of Manhattan. During his time as a paramedic, he met his wife Fiona nee O'Grady together they had three wonderful children: Joseph, Michael, and Luca. Joe retired after 9/11. Joe loved boating and fishing and electronics, he was an extra class Ham radio operator using the call sign NY0ES he loved talking to people all over the world. Joe also loved to cook and frequently crafted Sicilian dishes for family and friends. Joe was a good man and always put his family and friends before himself. Joe is survived by Fiona (the love of his life for 33 years), his children, and his brother Salvatore B. Cirino. No funeral services are scheduled as per Joe's wishes- please remember Joe by donating to the American Kidney Fund to help others on Joe's behalf.
