John was born on January 9th, 1939 in Brighton, Colorado. He was the oldest of Joe's and Helen's 5 children. He married the love of his life, Rosalie, on April 25, 1959. They spent 56 beautiful years together. He began his career at Martin-Marrietta and gave them 35 years of service. He then worked as the grounds manager at 5 Star Stadium with the Adams County School District.
John was very close to his siblings; Ilene (Dennis), Ron (Madeline), and Marie. He had daily chats, weekly visits, and even spent some time as roommates with Marie (Dave) recently when she moved in with him. The laughs and memories will never be forgotten.
John spent a lot of time in his garage fixing and building things, in his garden babying his tomatoes, listening to music, and still read the newspaper every day. Nothing brought John more joy than his dog, Millie aka Little Girl. He gave Millie the best life and spoiled that little dog with steaks for dinner every night.
A private graveside service will be held where he will be laid to rest with his, love, Rose. An open house Celebration of Life gathering will be on Saturday, April 8th from 1-4 the Northglenn Moose Lodge; 11449 York Street Northglenn, CO 80233.
