Wanchai Wanniyom was born in Bangkok Thailand on April 1, 1949. He moved to California in the 70’s and later became a US citizen changing his name to John Chai Scheene. He served in the Thai and US Army. He is survived his wife Thantip, daughter Jamie (Mel), son Andrew and 4 grandchildren, a brother, sisters and many nieces and nephews. John passed away on May 17, 2024 at the age of 75.
