Jerry O. Pagel, 72, passed away peacefully on July 27, 2023 in Glendale, Arizona. He was born to Oliver and Marjorie Pagel on December 29, 1950 in Indianapolis, Indiana. Jerry was a good man: funny, selfless, and never idle. In his final days he requested a Hot-N-Ready pizza from Little Caesars. Also, Jerry enjoyed chatting with everyone he encountered, often suggesting that they get some rest. In addition, when he wasn’t mowing his daughter’s lawn or cleaning out her van, Jerry loved listening to music, going to a movie or play, hiking, traveling, and—most of all—spending time with his family. Jerry is preceded in death by his father, Oliver and his mother, Marjorie. He is survived by his wife, Linda; their daughter, Heidi Riutta (Troy); ten grandchildren: Hannah Keranen (Tommy), Sophie, Olivia, Conner, Cooper, Bennett, Lucy, Simon, Theodore, and Henry; his sister, Pam Barstow (Bill).
