The story of Jerry
The name Jerry is defined as someone who is stable, disciplined, practical, reliable, and hardworking and who always thinks things through carefully before embarking on anything. This definition fits Jerry Bilich perfectly. Jerry was always there to lend an ear, a hand or anything else might be needed to help those he cared about. Jerry Bilich, 77, passed away late in the evening on April 24, 2023. He was born to Jack and Thais Bilich on December 18th, 1945. Jerry lived a happy life filled with family, friends, and love. He could cook up a meal that would surpass anything you could get at a restaurant and used his 3000 cookbooks to come up with new ideas or ways to put things together. He loved going hunting or to the range with his friends and his grandson. He was so proud of his grandchildren and loved to watch his grandson play football and to talk over everything going on at practice and school on a regular basis, and talk to his granddaughter about her most recent presentation, the new artwork she had created, or the dances she was learning One of his favorite things was to sit with his wife Linda and look at the sunsets from their back porch. Jerry was preceded in death by his brother, Jack Bilich, his sisters, Joy Carver and Jan Bilich, and his great-nephew, Blake Carver. He is survived by and will be deeply missed by his wife of 50 years Linda, his daughter Jennifer and her husband Ben, his grandchildren Porter and Brylee, and his niece, nephews, and in-laws. A Celebration of Life will be held at Joy Lutheran Church, 7051 Parker Hills Ct, Parker Colorado 80138, at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, May 31st, 2023. A reception at the church will follow the service. In lieu of flowers please consider making a donation to St. Jude.
