Jennie Moody, 79, passed away on August 30. 2024 at the University of Colorado Hospital. Jennie was born on June 28, 1945 in El Paso, TX. She was the eldest of her 5 siblings, Mary, Lorraine, Joe, George and Raymond. She grew up traveling the world with her family as her father was apart of the US Military. She eventually got married and adopted her daughter, Cynthia. Years after her split with her husband, she gave birth to her son, Matthew, who then went on to have her granddaughter, Samantha. Her life passion was working with children. She worked at a daycare for nearly 25 years. She helped raised many children and most will remember her as the sweet lady who cared for their babies. She also loved to watch her TV shows and play games on her iPad. Her smile was so warm and her laugh was so comforting. She always preached kindness. She would always listen to those around her, showing interest in other people. She is survived by her children, siblings, granddaughter and friends who will continue to honor her life. She touched so many people’s hearts, and made a huge impact in everyone’s lives. She was so incredibly loved and will be missed. Per her request, there will be no services.
