The story of
Jeffrey Allan Stowell, passed away peacefully on November 4, 2025 in Scottsdale, Arizona. He was born on September 3rd 1979 (Labor Day) in Hoffman Estates Illinois. Moving to Saint Charles, Illinois during high school Jeff always enjoyed tinkering with wood and other projects which he was able to include while starting his career in the tool and maintenance industry. He was born to John and Christina (nee Mays) Jeff led a very happy, active life filled with family, friends, and many activities, such as watching his beloved Chicago Bears and White Sox. He is known for his quick wit, laughter, and caring nature. He will always be remembered for his loyalty, dependability and willingness to lend a hand. Jeff also held a special place in his heart for his pets. He of course loved seeing the granddaughters laughing and always doing things which would make them laugh. In 2015 he moved to Scottsdale Arizona where he worked in maintenance for several apartment complexes in the area. Here, he met the love of his life Sue Ann Stillwell. They enjoyed life with their friends and community. He especially loved spending time in Cave Creek particularly at El Canto and walking around the shops in the town. Jeff always looked forward to the holidays, spending it with the Garza’s and Roybal’s. Jeff enjoyed the several vacations to the Grand Canyon, Big Bear, Catalina, California and Chicago for birthdays, Thanksgiving and Quiceañeras. Jeff was preceded in death by his father, John, grandparents John L. and Mary (nee Gratke) Stowell and Albert and Stephanie (nee Szura) Mays. Jeff is survived by the love of his life Sue Ann Stillwell, his mother Christina, Deacon David (Dorothea), sister Cynthia Stowell and Crystal Earl, Vanessa Cucue, Samantha Cucue, Sky Cucue & Isaiah Chew, Angel Garza, Stefani Roybal, Raymond Garza & Angelo Roybal. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Covenant House in Phoenix.
