The story of
In Loving Memory of Jeff Sloan April 15, 1964 – February 15th, 2026 Jeff Sloan, 61, of Foothill Ranch, California passed away on Sunday, February 15th 2026. Born on April 15, 1964, Jeff grew up in Balboa, Newport Beach, where he proudly “raised hell” in his younger years - living unapologetically himself, making lifelong friends, and carrying that same intrepid spirit with him throughout his life. He was a devoted husband to Lysa, father to Max and Milo, and he took immense pride in the home he created and the stability he worked tirelessly to provide. Jeff demonstrated that loving and supporting his family was more than a responsibility, but one of his life purposes. Jeff worked in HVAC for 40 years, earning a reputation for integrity, exceptional skill, and a genuine care for every customer he served. He spent the final 17 years of his career leading the company he founded, working alongside his son Max during those years - something he deeply cherished. He worked hard and enjoyed the life he built. He loved his home, his vibrant succulent garden, golfing, family trips to Hawaii, and spending time with the people he loved most - including his beloved rescue dog, Millie, who was always close by. He was incredibly smart, compassionate, and believed fully in everything he did. Jeff is survived by his wife of 35 years, Lysa Sloan; his sons, Max Sloan (Halley Capo) and Milo Sloan (Jeff Cosgrove); his brother, Dave Sloan, and nephews Dylan Sloan and Colin Sloan; his sister-in-law, Sarah Blataric (David Blataric), and nieces Hailey Wyngaarden, Madison Wyngaarden, Renee Blataric, and Rachel Blataric; his brother-in-law, Mike Dilworth (Rebecca Dilworth); his mother-in-law, Ronel Leonard; his great-nephews, Isaiah and Elias, who he lovingly considered his grandsons; and his cherished cousins and their families, including the Morales Family, Rubendall Family, and McCalla Family. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered. A service to celebrate Jeff’s life will be scheduled at a later time.
