Janine Kay Whitney-Wise, age 76, of Denver, Colorado died peacefully on Thursday, June 23rd, 2022. Janine was born on February 5th, 1946 in Maywood, Nebraska. She is the daughter of the late LD. and Virginia A. Embry-Whitney and sister of Charles Whitney. Janine was happily married to Clinton Lee Wise on June 17, 1977, in Denver, Colorado. She is survived by her husband: Clinton Wise and two step-daughters: Cynthia L. Wise-Harris of Glendale, AZ, and Carla A. Wise of Phoenix, AZ. Janine was very creative and enjoyed art, reading, decorating, and enjoying time out in nature. She adored animals and had many cats. At one time she and Clinton had six happy feline family members. Janine is blessed and will forever be remembered for her warm smile and loving-kindness. The family wants to extend hugs and a huge thank you to Sharifah Bailey, a cherished long-time friend, and neighbor who shared much love and support with Janine and Clinton.
