The story of
In Loving Memory of James Gerald Goehring January 27, 1966 – June 17, 2026 James Gerald Goehring passed away peacefully on June 17, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was 60 years old. In 2022, James was diagnosed with cancer and was given just six months to two years to live. True to his determined spirit, he fought far beyond those expectations, facing every challenge with strength and perseverance for nearly four years. His courage throughout his journey was an inspiration to everyone who knew him. James is survived by his three children, Dylan Morley, Ashley Achord, and James Goehring; his two grandsons, Finley James and Landon Michael; his siblings, Robin, Joel, and John; as well as extended family and many friends whose lives he touched throughout the years. His legacy lives on in the stories, laughter, and memories shared by all who had the privilege of knowing him. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor James by sharing a story, taking a ride, spending time with those you love, or, if it’s your style, enjoying a smoke in his memory. Though he may be gone from our sight, his love, laughter, and unforgettable personality will remain in our hearts forever.
