The story of Hanora
Hanora Masdin April 29, 1949 – July 22, 2023 Hanora (Hana) Masdin was born on April 29, 1949 in Sacramento California to James and Madelyn Hoose. She passed July 22, 2023 resting comfortably in her home. She was a beloved wife to Robert (Bob) Buck. Her Immediate family members include Robert Buck, Edward A. and Heather Masdin, Andrea and Matt Drake, Michael and Brooke Buck, Kimberly and Michael Sullivan and eleven grandchildren. She was preceded in death by James and Madelyn Hoose, Elizabeth K. Chaddic (daughter) and Peter Hoose (brother) She is also survived by her two horses (Verilee and Zepher) her dog (Louie) and her cat (Roy) In her early years Hanora developed an interest in animals that followed her throughout her entire life. Her favorite was horses, but Cats were a close second. From her early years in Sacramento until her passing she spent countless hours riding, training, and teaching others horsemanship. She rode English and successfully competed in many “Hunter/Jumper” events over the years as well as 8 years rescuing, training, and selling horses. She also had a passion for racing and fast cars. Her and Bob traveled to hundreds of Sprint Car and Drag Boat races throughout the country where she would actively help the teams. She was an accomplished Craft Woman where she tried several different crafts including Ceramics, Jewelry, Scrapbooking, Dichroic Glass until she discovered Lampwork Bead making where she would spend several hours every day making Lampwork beads which she sold on her Etsy store. May she rest in peace, ride as many horses, and adopt as many cats as she wants.
