The story of
Georgia Steed (1956 – 2025) With hearts full of love and gratitude, we remember Georgia Steed, who passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving husband and daughters. Born in 1956 in Baltimore, Maryland, Georgia was a devoted wife, mother, stepmother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. In 2000, she married Clifton Steed, and together, they built a life filled with warmth, laughter, and unwavering support. She was a loving mother to Melissa Smith (Jody Smith) and Sabrina Vane. A caring stepmother to Justin and Ashley, a proud grandmother to Serenity, Paige, Gavin, Edwin, Taylor, and Becky, and a great-grandmother to Nico, all of whose presence brought her immense happiness. Georgia is survived by her beloved brother George, cherishing many memories of their family bonds. She is now reunited with God in peace, joining her late siblings, Peggy, Harry & Larry, whom she loved dearly. She was also a cherished aunt to many loving nieces and nephews, as well as grandnieces and grandnephews, each of whom held a special place in her heart. Her kindness, gentle but feisty spirit, and selfless love touched everyone who knew her. Whether through her warm embrace, her encouraging words, or her endless generosity, Georgia left an indelible mark on the hearts of all who crossed her path. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered in the love she shared and the lives she touched. Rest peacefully, Georgia — you will forever be in our hearts.
