Phyllis Ivins Phyllis Ivins, born May 26, 1934, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 24, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. Phyllis was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose life was centered around her family. She was a woman of strength, compassion, and unwavering dedication, touching the lives of all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John Ivins; her children, Phyllis Granato, Johnny Ivins, Charlotte Ivins, Richard Ivins, and Shirley Ivins; and her siblings, Louis Marucci, Ralph Marucci, Carlo Marucci, and Elaine DiBella. Phyllis is survived by her loving children, Christopher Ivins and Karen Friedel. She is also survived by her siblings, Elizabeth Cotellese and Anna Marie Gilkin. She was the proud grandmother of nine grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren, who were a constant source of pride, love, and happiness in her life. She also helped raise her grandchildren, playing a significant role in shaping their lives and the people they have become. Her strength, love, and selflessness will be remembered always. She leaves behind a legacy of family, resilience, and unconditional love that will continue for generations. Phyllis Ivins will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.
