The story of
5/17/41-5/20/25 Fawn was generous to a fault, caring, modest, bashful, stubborn, loyal and sarcastic. She enjoyed reading, playing board/card games and bingo, until Alzheimer’s robbed her of these abilities. She was a wonderful cook who loved to spoil her family in every way possible; always positive and loved to laugh. The world lost an incredible woman, who is deeply missed by family and friends. Whenever she called, her hello started with, “It’s just me…” A statement that would never sum her up; she was everything! Preceded in death by her husband “Bob” (Robert Klaas); parents, May (Richins) and William “Reed” Phillips; siblings: Ray, Leah (Robinson), Wayne, Shirley (Evans), Dorothy (Robertson), June (Frampton), Amy “Jeneal”(Rucker) and Fawn’s twin, Thomas “Tom”. She is survived by her siblings Joy Smith and Jerry and Anita Phillips; children, Shar Jensen, Felene Mattena, Robert and Heather Klaas and Brandie Cava; grandchildren, Angela Hales, Chris Mattena, Natalia Castro, Cyrus Sutton, Vincent and Sydney Cava and great-grandchildren Alysia, Kashmira, Desmond and Avi. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 21st from 1:00-3:00 MT in the clubhouse of Rockledge at Quarry Bend 903 E Iron Ore Way Sandy, UT 84090 In lieu of flowers, please send a donation to the Alzheimer’s Association at alz.org or by calling 800-272-3900.
