Ethan Sean Cantelon, age 27, passed away on April 16, 2025. His vibrant spirit and kind heart touched the lives of everyone who knew him, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories.
Born on December 2, 1997, in Kirkland, WA, Ethan was a gentle soul who brought joy to his family and friends. He had a gift for making others laugh and was especially known for his thoughtfulness. He loved spending time with those he cared about—his parents, his sister and nephew—and shared a close bond with his cousins. His loyal Rottweiler, Tiya, was always by his side.
Ethan had a deep love for music, and his playlists spanned genres, reflecting his open-minded, adventurous nature. We’ll all remember the eclectic mixes he played and how they somehow always fit the moment.
He was also passionate about cars, especially modifying them. Whether it was figuring out how to fix something, upgrade a system, or fine-tune performance, Ethan always knew his stuff. He had an incredible memory and deep understanding of anything mechanical and could talk for hours about cars, history, or just about any topic with insight and clarity. If you needed help with a build or wanted to know what worked best, Ethan was the one you called.
Throughout his life, Ethan lived in several states—including Washington, Arizona, Texas, and others—following his adventurous spirit and love for new experiences. He eventually returned to Washington, where he enjoyed the cool weather, mountain views, and time with family.
Ethan is survived by his parents, Jeremy and Roslyn Cantelon; his sister Brynn and nephew Liam, who were central in his life and held a special place in his heart. He was also deeply connected to his grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins—especially those he spent time with regularly and considered more like siblings. Family gatherings, birthdays, and simple moments meant the world to him, and he gave his full heart to those around him.
He is remembered with love by extended family and friends whose lives he touched with his humor and kindness.
Friends and family are invited to share stories and honor Ethan’s life. Though his time here was far too short, his light will shine forever in our hearts—and we will hold our memories of him close, always.
Love called him home.
