The story of Erlinda
On the afternoon of January 11, 2023, at around 2:30 pm, Erlinda Barbosa, age 55, left us to be with the lord and her parents. She was born to Arthur Cordova and Rhoda Venegas, on the 10 of February 1967, in Boyle Heights, Los Angeles, California. In life, Erlinda was a mother, aunt, sister, grandma, and aunt. She was loved by many for her love of others. Growing up she was feisty but was always good-hearted. She always put her family first and never let anything get in between them. Young Linda was wild and adventurous. She was a single parent who had to raise up 8 children. Even as her children became older she was always taking care of them to her last breath. Her grandchildren were her joy in life. Every time at least one of them was around her she was full of joy and energy to be with them. Erlinda is preceded in death by both of her parents Arthur Cordova and Rhoda Venegas. She is survived by her 8 children Desiree, Melissa, Christina, Cruz, Leticia, Anthony, Daniel, and Erika; as well as her 9 grandchildren Johnathon, Juan, Max, David, Mya, Brendon, Isaiah, Andrew, and Alina. She will be cremated in Arizona where she passed away. On February 11th, in West Covina, CA, there will be a service and reception for her where loved ones and friends can speak about their experiences with Erlinda. Donations are excepted through go fund me, https://gofund.me/c225006f. Anything helps to go toward service and reception.
