The story of
Eric M Green, 71, passed away on September 5, 2023 in Portland Oregon. He is preceded in death by his father and mother, Harry Gordan & Betty Jane Green, and his brother in law Richard Skeean Eric is survived by his: Son & Daughter in law Andrew & Kharece Green, Grandchildren Andrew Green Jr & Emmelia Green; Daughter & Lifemate Rachel Green & Daniel Cicon; Brother & Wife : Marc & Mary Green, Nephew Thomas Green; Sister & Husband: Jan & Robert Carolan and his Sister: Luann (Murrie) Green, Nephew Bryce Skeean & Niece Omega Skeean. Eric graduated from Sunset high school 1969 and was on the Portland All-Metro football team and Ski Team. He attended Oregon State University and finished his Ag Econ degree in Cairo Egypt. After leaving Middle East he traveled Europe where he met with many relatives still living in Switzerland. He was a wonderful brother, father and grandfather who will be missed. Eric's love of outdoors and activities included; Lifetime member of Multnomah Athletic Club, years as a ski instructor at Mount Hood Meadows and Timberline, hiking and mushroom hunting. He was a great cook that always enjoyed a good potluck get together. Because of his love of music Eric was very active in many Portland social dance communities. The Celebration of Life will be held at 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Sunday October 8, 2023 at Leedy Grange Hall 835 NW Saltzman Rd. Portland OR 97229. Andrew & Rachel give eulogies starting at 12:30 followed by open mic sharing. In keeping with the spirit of Eric's love of dancing and a good potluck gathering, please come casually dressed, you may bring a Potluck dish if you wish to share and of course be ready to dance.
