On Wednesday, November 24th, 2021, Emily Samaniego passed away in Phoenix, Arizona. She was born on February 11, 1951 and was survived by her 2 children and 4 grandchildren. Emily was a dedicated teacher and retired after 25 years of service to elementary students in the Phoenix area, specializing in ESL(English Second Language) reading programs for elementary schools and adult education. After retirement, she did volunteer work every week at her grandchildren’s school. She devoted herself to her family, friends, and causes that were important to her. She always lived her life to the fullest and will be greatly missed.A private celebration of her life will held on December 11, 2021. Emily was generous with both her time and money. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in her name to Saint Mary’s Food Bank in Phoenix.
