Elizabeth Regina Anderson
March 2, 1940 - May 24, 2026
Elizabeth (Beth) R. Anderson, 86, was born in March of 1940 in Denver, Colorado, the city she would call home for her entire life. Beth graced the lives of many as a beloved daughter, sister, mother, aunt, grandmother, and friend.
A brilliant woman, she graduated valedictorian from Denver West High School in 1957 before becoming a mother to her four wonderful children and working as an accountant clerk through her career. She was a kind and patient woman who loved spending time with her kids, going on trips to the cabin during the Colorado summers, reading books, attending concerts, and gardening. She especially loved growing and canning vegetables in her backyard and cooking warm meals for her family. Beth lived a full and lighthearted life. She was full of laughter and wit and made sure that anyone who had the pleasure of spending time with her left feeling loved. Her playful personality and ornery grin will be missed greatly by the people who loved her.
Her legacy lives on through her son John; daughters Pam and DeDe; her five grandchildren, Megan, Zach, Nathan, Sage, and Brandi; her brother Frank; and her nephews Mike and Mark. She was preceded in death by her jovial son, Chris, and her loving parents, Gertrude and Jack.
Beth returned to heaven on the afternoon of May 24th, 2026, surrounded by her loving family in the childhood home her father built. A mass and celebration of Beth’s wonderful life will be held on June 5, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Golden, Colorado, followed by a gathering at her home in Denver.
