The story of
Elizabeth Johnson MacGregor August 29, 1953 – April 27, 2026 Elizabeth Johnson MacGregor, 72, passed away peacefully on the morning of April 27, 2026, in Euless, Texas. She was born on August 29, 1953, in Alice, Texas, to her mother, Zulema Alaniz. Elizabeth spent much of her life in Grand Prairie and Fort Worth, Texas, where she was surrounded by family and the people she loved most. Elizabeth was the kind of person who never met a stranger. She had a gift for turning everyday moments into something lighthearted and memorable, always eager to make others laugh. If she thought of something funny, she would say it, do it, or act it out just to bring a smile to someone’s face. Her kindness and generosity were felt by everyone who crossed her path, and her warm spirit made people feel seen, welcomed, and cared for. She found joy in the simple things, especially watching Gunsmoke, enjoying Madea movies, and listening to oldies music that brought back memories of earlier days. More than anything, her grandchildren brought her so much joy, and she cherished every moment she had with them. Elizabeth was preceded in death by her daughter, Christine Tara Johnson, who passed at the age of 23, as well as her brothers, Charlie and Archie. There is comfort in knowing they are together again. She is survived by her children, Jason MacGregor and Cameo Rodriguez; her grandchildren, Scotland, Selah, Solomon, and Sophie MacGregor, and Joel Rodriguez; and her brothers, Rogelio, Danny, and Jr. She is also remembered by extended family and many others whose lives were touched by her kindness. Elizabeth will be cremated, and no services are planned at this time. Her life was a reflection of love, laughter, and quiet generosity. May she rest in peace, reunited with those who went before her, and held in the grace of God.
