Elaine Joan Boynton
Elaine passed peacefully at her home on May 6, 2025. She will always be remembered for her passionate spirit. A person who could do anything she set her mind to. Elaine was very personal and cared deeply about her family and close friends. Being a mother was something she was passionate about, and she took it very seriously. She worked hard to make sure her children and grandchildren were loved and challenged to be better.
Elaine was born in Wells, Maine to Ruth Beaulieu (née Ricker) and Guy Beaulieu on August 5, 1958. Elaine had nine siblings and was the oldest daughter. She attended The University of Maine and got a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. At college, Elaine met Charley Boynton, and they were married in December 1980. They welcomed three children; Cori Jo (1981); Seth Ezra (1983) and Zachary Abram (1985). The young family moved from Maine to Oregon in 1988.
Seth married Adrienne Boynton (née McNabb) in July 2010. They welcomed twin sons in August 2014, Henry and Hayden. Cori married Jason Wall in May 2021.
A dedicated daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandmother. Elaine had a talent for creating things. From beautiful gardens to crafts with the grandkids. A nature enthusiast that taught her children and grandchildren to get outside and appreciate beauty. Elaine will be missed by many.
Elaine was preceded in death by her parents, Guy Beaulieu and Ruth Talpey (née Ricker); two siblings Marc and Cheryl Beaulieu and a nephew, Guy Coombs.
