The story of Douglas
Douglas M. Hochuli passed away April 29, 2023 after a long battle with Neuroendocrine Cancer. Doug will be greatly missed by his loving wife, Suzi Hochuli. Doug is survived by his 5 children who he loved very much, Andy Mays (Brittanie), Amanda Butcher (Ralph) and Adam Mays (Alexis), Samantha Kelley. Makenzie Hochuli as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Doug is also survived by his parents Paul and Alma Hochuli, and siblings Cathy Burskey (Bob), Craig Hochuli (Cindy) Jodi Billman (Andy) Doug graduated from Gahanna Lincoln High School in 1980 and then went on to serve in the U.S. Navy for four years. After serving in the Navy, Doug worked at Plaskolite as Maintenance Manager, retiring after 30 years. Doug will be remembered by the many people he touched throughout his life. He has moved on to a better place sooner than any of us wanted but is no longer in pain. Doug will always be remembered for his love and dedication to his family, his unwavering willingness to help whenever needed, and his playful inner child. Even though Doug is now gone from our sight, he is still with each of us who was fortunate enough to have crossed paths with him and is undoubtedly still looking after all of us. A Celebration of Life will be held Monday, May 15 at Reynoldsburg Community Church, 1636 Graham Rd, Reynoldsburg, OH for anyone who wishes to share their memories of Doug. The family will begin receiving friends and guests at 10:00 am and a service will begin at 11:00 am. the family is asking in lieu of flowers please donate to THE HEALING NET FOUNDATION https://thehealingnet.org Doug Hochuli
