Dorothy Marie Navarrete
December 6, 1966 – August 26, 2025
Dorothy Marie Navarrete, 58, of Las Vegas, Nevada, left this world on August 26, 2025, cradled in love and remembered with joy.
Born on December 6, 1966, to Arthur and Gertrude (Anthony) Golob, Dorothy grew up in the heart of Las Vegas, where the desert sun, laughter, and family shaped her life. She carried a vibrant spirit—drawn to the color green, enchanted by dragonflies and dragons, and inspired by the beauty of sunflowers, lilies, and daisies. She had a quick wit, a great sense of humor, and an unshakable love for her family.
Dorothy is survived by her husband, Alejandro Navarrete; her children, Rylan Golob of Las Vegas, and Heather (Nathan) of Saginaw, Michigan; and her grandchildren, Zion, Ivy, Chanoch, Dustin, and Mirabelle Lily. She will forever be connected to the memory of her angel grandchild, Leathan. Dorothy was also a beloved Tía, whose laughter, warmth, and love touched the lives of her nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Her legacy is not just in names and dates, but in the way she loved: as a daughter, a wife, a mother, a grandmother, and an aunt. She leaves behind echoes of laughter, lessons of resilience, and a reminder that life is precious and fleeting.
In keeping with her wishes, there will be no services. She will be cremated, and those who love her are invited to honor her by remembering the joy she brought, planting something beautiful in her name, or sharing a story that makes them smile.
Dorothy’s light will continue to shine in the lives of her family, and in the hearts of all who knew her.
