Born in Bremerton Washington on March 17th 1955, Don passed away on February 13th 2024 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Puyallup Washington, he was 68 years old.
Don attended school on the Key Peninsula. After graduating from Peninsula High School, he attended Arizona Automotive Institute and became one of the top 10 transmission rebuilders in the Pacific Northwest.
In 1985, Don moved to Aberdeen and opened his first Transmission repair shop, then 2 years later opened his second Transmission repair shop, they were both named Transmissions Unlimited. Additionally, Don built and was crew pit Supervisor for Sprint cars in Gray’s Harbor Washington.
Don had a good sense of humor and was constantly joking around. Don enjoyed old Western movies, loved John Wayne and Western books by Louis Lamour, his favorite movie was Disney’s Fantasia.
Don leaves behind his sisters Janice, Linda and Donna; children Jeremy, Beau, and Janell; Grandson, Rory; step daughters Krista and Paula; and many nieces and nephews.
