Desireé Cecile Tacon Waldron Dickinson Bean Tacon
Born on November 14, 1930, the fifth child of Fernard Emile Tacon and Velda Sizemore Tacon. She is preceded in death by both her parents and four older siblings Gloria, Fredric, Tate, and Patricia. Desiree joined her beloved Richard Pevey Waldron Sr. on May 10, 2023. Two of her children Richard P. Waldron Jr. and Celia Anne Waldron Montano Whalen also preceded her in death. She will be deeply missed by her surviving children Lloyd E. Waldron, “Spring” Desireé Waldron-Richardson (Randy), Mary Bryars Tucker (Rob, deceased), and Yve Roberts ( Chris); 13 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren. A true legacy of artists and adventurers, Desireé lived in 8 states, Paris, France and traveled extensively in the US. Though she was rarely on time, Desireé’s faith was very important to her and was a life long Episcopalian. During her latter years she also attended several other church denomination as well. Desireé was an expert gardener, seamstress and was very social, making friends easily. Both immediate and extended family meant the world to her. If Desireé came to visit you she probably made something for you; a wreath for your door, new window treatments or gardening in your yard, she loved to share her talents.
A Celebration of Life for Desireé will be held on September 16th in Mobile, Alabama details will be later.
