Dennis passed away Friday, April 25, 2025 in his recliner at home. Dennis was born April 11, 1952 in Portland at Good Samaritan Hospital. His parents Ralph and Betty Gibson preceded him death and he is survived by his sister Joyce Gibson, also a Portland resident. Dennis graduated from David Douglas High School and attended Mt Hood Community College and Portland State University, studying criminal justice. For several years he held sales positions, followed by delivery of building materials for both residential and commercial projects. Following his retirement, he enjoyed researching WWII and specifically his father's service in France, Germany, Belgium and Holland. As a starting point, he had his scrapbook, regimental history book and a bag with some of his military decorations and insignia.
