Delbert Leigh Wood, 90, passed away March 30, 2022. He was born in Lisbon, North Dakota to Sidney and Ethel Wood on March 3, 1932 and was the youngest of eleven siblings. Del graduated from Lisbon High School and Dakota Business College and was a proud veteran of the Korean War. In high school he met and later married the love of his life, Audrey Miriam Kenyon on Valentines Day, 1954. Audrey and Del had 67 years of marriage together in Montana, Idaho and Arizona. Del is survived by his three daughters and son in laws, Susan and Michael Wiggins, Tucson, AZ, Diane and Tom Byrne, Queen Creek, AZ, and Joan and Aaron Spencer, Gold River, CA. Del was beloved by seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Del was a bookkeeper, life insurance salesman, and postal worker. He delighted in conservative politics, investing, bridge playing, gardening, reading Barron’s, story telling, and his morning coffee buddies. Del leaves a legacy of love for God and his family. A private memorial service will be held.
