OBITUARY In His infinite wisdom and gentle grace, Almighty God reached down from Heaven and whispered ever so quietly to one of his children these words: “Come with me my son for it’s time to go home” and so it was that on Friday morning June 26, 2026, God closed the eyes of our beloved David and the angels took him home. David Jerome was born to the late David and Martha Ellis in Baltimore Maryland on March 29,1951. He graduated from Edmondson High School with honors and later attended MIT -Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Boston, MA. David moved to Chicago in 80’s. There he met his wife, Harriette Jackson. They were wed on October 17, 2009. David loved listening to music, watching sports and would work on anyone and everyone’s computer. ’He was known as a computer addict.” David leaves to cherish his memories: His spouse: Harriette Jackson Ellis, his daughter, Kianga Ellis, his sister: Paulette E. Pace (Gregory), his brother: George R. Ellis (Valerie), his father in-law: Charles A. Terry, his stepson and grandson: Andre Springfield and Andre Springfield Jr. Also, many cousins, extended family members, and friends. Memories of David will always forever live in the hearts of his family who loved and cherished him.
