Darrell Bernard Jones (Simpson), affectionately known as Jay, was born to Ms. Ellen Simpson on July 19, 1948. The eldest of 3 children, he was a big brother to Sharon & Roderick (Muhammad). As a lover of football, he played the sport all throughout high school & college. He went on to start a family, having a total of 7 children (4 boys & 3 girls). He took time with each of his children to teach & provide fatherly wisdom. Darrell lived a full life beyond many of his family members, including his mother who passed away at an early time in Darrell's life and his sister Sharon. He held many jobs from boxer to chef to hair stylist. He was in fact a jack of all trades.  He leaves behind to cherish his memory eldest son Darrell Jr, Reginald (Amica), Gerald, Natasha & Krystal, & a host of grandchildren & great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his mother Ellen, sister Sharon, daughters Lynnette & Kimberlyn, mothers of his children Shirley & Glenda, & final love Sheila. He will live on in our hearts & memories.
