Dale passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 18th, 2023 at the age of 85 in Phoenix, AZ. He was born April 7th, 1938 to LeRoy and Marie Daugherty, later adopted by Jack Turnage after Marie remarried. Dale retired from the Teamsters Local Union 104 in 1994. After retirement, he spent 20 years living in and exploring Northern California before returning home to Arizona in 2014. Dale was an avid tennis player, offering lessons after retirement but his passion became building and showing his 1929 Ford HOT Rod. Dale is preceded in death by his wife Victoria, mother Marie, stepfather Jack and sisters Peggy and Jacqueline. Dale is survived by his son Dale, daughter-in-law Jacquiline, granddaughters Jessica and Morgan, and great-grandson Aldon. It was Dale's desire to be cremated and to have his ashes scattered in the Sierra Nevada mountains, Northern California area, where he spent so many cherished days with his wife Victoria.
