The story of
Cynthia Anne Peeden, 77, of Castle Rock, Colorado, passed away on May 5th, 2025 after a brave battle with pancreatic cancer. Cynthia was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and a cherished friend to all who knew her. Cynthia was born on December 23rd, 1947 to Robert and Grace Carson in Honolulu, HI. Growing up a daughter of a U.S. Marine, she was raised all around the country with her 4 siblings. Cynthia was predeceased by her husband Robert (Bob), her mother Grace, and father Robert. She is survived by her daughter Kelley, grandson Dylan, granddaughter in law Jacki, great grandchildren Mila and Chloe, her sisters Linda, Joan, and Caroline, and her brother Robert. Cynthia was a very loving and compassionate person who always put others before herself. Her compassion as well as sense of humor, was infectious and she truly touched the hearts of her family and friends. In her earlier years, she enjoyed skiing and the outdoors with her husband Bob, frequently in the Lake Tahoe and Colorado Rockies areas. Before her and her daughter Kelley moved to Castle Rock a few years ago, she worked as a successful real estate agent in Orange County, CA. Per her wishes, Cynthia was cremated, and her ashes will be spread in the beautiful mountains of Colorado where she spent so much time in her younger days camping, fishing, and skiing with her husband.
