Craig Allen Peterson, 63, passed away peacefully in his sleep on April 17, 2026, at 9:30 a.m. in California.
Craig was born on December 27, 1962, in Alhambra, alongside his fraternal twin sister, Cathy, and was soon followed by his younger brother, Curt. Growing up so close in age, the three shared a unique and lasting bond from the very beginning. One built on family, familiarity, and quiet understanding.
He proudly served his country as a Corporal in the United States Marine Corps, carrying the spirit of Semper Fidelis—always faithful—throughout his life.
Craig lived a quiet, unassuming life, finding his greatest comfort in simplicity and in the presence of those he loved most. Though he often kept to himself, he was never too busy or too tired for his family. His daughter, Tiffany, and his grandchildren—Amy, Ariel, and Alice, who lovingly called him “Gampy”—were the center of his world. He gave them his time, his attention, and his unwavering love, which to them was his greatest gift.
He found peace in his personal hobbies, spending countless hours tending to his collections of cards and coins. A dedicated collector at heart, he took joy in the smallest details, always carefully organizing and adding to the things he loved.
Craig’s family finds deep comfort in the final gift he gave them. On the morning of his passing, at 7:03 a.m., he called his daughter for one last conversation. They were able to say “I love you” to each other one final time before he passed peacefully just hours later—a moment that perfectly reflected the love and devotion he always had for his family.
He is survived by his mother, Barbara; his daughter, Tiffany, and son-in-law, Robert; his grandchildren, Amy, Ariel, and Alice; his twin sister, Cathy; and his brother, Curt.
Craig will be laid to rest as his ashes are scattered in the ocean.
Craig leaves behind a legacy of quiet loyalty, steady presence, and a love that never wavered. He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and always remembered.
