It is with great sadness and humble acceptance of God's will that we announce the passing of Connie Kay South at 5PM on January 17, 2024 in Portland, Oregon at the young age of 80 years.  She was born Connie Kay King on December 29, 1943 in Norwood, Missouri to parents Clifton Robert King and Avenell (Spence)King . She is survived by Lynn M. South her Loving Husband of 58 years, 2 sons Richard and Merril, and 3 grandchildren Lynne Halladay, Faith Payne, and William Large along with one great granddaughter Lillith Payne along with countless other nieces and nephews. She is also survived by brothers Ken King, Terry King, Paul E King and sisters Cheryl, Debbie, Janet and Jerry. She was an avid collector of jewelry, angels, plates and Knick knacks. She was a very loving soul, active in several clubs and organizations up until the last several months. She was proceeded in Death by her daughter Michelle A. Large, and her brother Bob King. She will be sourly missed by all.
