Clifford Douglas Tendick Jr. (all called him Doug) beloved son, brother, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend, passed away peacefully on April 24th, 2026 at the age of 80 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Doug was a man of remarkable kindness, generosity, and quiet strength. Known for his gentle spirit and big heart, he touched the lives of everyone he met. He lived with integrity, compassion, and an unwavering willingness to help others—often putting the needs of family and friends before his own.
A dedicated and hardworking individual, Doug continued working well into his later years, always striving toward his dream of retirement. His generosity was evident not only in words but in action, as he consistently gave to those around him without hesitation. That was simply who he was.
Doug shared a deep and meaningful bond with his family. He will be especially remembered for his thoughtful phone calls, always checking in to say hello and to make sure his loved ones were doing well. Those small but meaningful gestures will be dearly missed.
He is survived by his loving family, including his brothers, Jeff and Dennis, sisters Debbie and Gloria, daughter Amy and grandson Luke along with many relatives and friends who will carry his memory in their hearts.
Doug’s life was a testament to kindness, humility, and love. Though he is no longer with us, the impact he made on those around him will never be forgotten. He is now at peace.
A service to honor Doug’s life will be held on Wednesday May 13th starting at 11:00AM at Christ's Church of the Valley (CCV Anthem)
