The story of
In Loving Memory of Christopher Lee Bilyk. Christopher was born on February 22, 1989 and was welcomed into the Bilyk family through adoption on 07/14/1994. From the time he was a young boy, Christopher brought energy and enthusiasm to life. He loved playing football, baseball, swimming, wrestling and his favorite was snowboarding. He had a great sense of humor, enjoyed watching comedies, one of his favorites was “Uncle Buck”and never turned down a bowl of ice cream. Most importantly, Chris loved family, (Favorites being Grandma Ruby and his sister Jamie). He loved his friends and his old dog Jake. As life unfolded, Chris faced many challenges that eventually led to years of estrangement from his family. Though circumstances separated us, he remained in our thoughts and prayers, and we hoped that he would find peace and happiness. Christopher’s passing leaves us with sadness, memories of happier times and the hope he has now found peace that often escaped him during his lifetime. We choose to remember the young boy who laughed easily and loved to play. He will be remembered by his family and friends. A private family remembrance will be held. The family encourages donations to cooling centers for the homeless and acts of kindness. “May the Lord be close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit.”— Psalm 34:18 May Chris rest in eternal peace.
