Christopher Brent Lucas, 66, passed away unexpectedly on 8/14/22 in Mesa, AZ. Chris was born October 20, 1955, in Zanesville, Ohio to the late Glenn and Charlotte Lucas. He was a 1974 graduate of Newark High School in Newark, Ohio where he was on the swim team. Chris loved swimming and had a passion for the water. He loved boating on Buckeye Lake (Ohio), Lake Murray (South Carolina), and Canyon Lake (Arizona). Chris spent most of his life as a Class A Press Operator at Communicolor/ RR Donnelley in Hebron, OH. A diehard Buckeye fan, he planned his life around Ohio State Football games. He could be heard yelling O-H wherever he was. Chris is survived by his daughter Christi (Ken) Long, granddaughter Taylor Stephenson, brother Marc Lucas, and 2 nieces and a nephew. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers Greg and Doug and his sister Nancy. No services will be held at this time, but please cheer a little louder for Ohio State football (O-H) or have a drink and toast, Chris.
