On Friday September 1, 2023, Christina Marie Martinez aged 66 suddenly left us to be with the Lord. Christina preferred to be called Tina by friends and family. She was born to Claudia Eres and Pressy Martinez on March 12, 1957, in Denver Colorado. She grew up in Denver's Westside Community. Tina was a very vibrant woman who's love, and kindness touched many hearts. She loved music and laughter and spending time with the girls! Tina would spend her time cooking wonderful meals for her family, but her biggest assets was her compassion for the homeless. Every morning she would wake up and start making burritos to deliver to people in the parks or other areas of the city for people in need. Tina adored her grandchildren and spoke of them often. Christina is proceeded in death by her mother Maria and sisters, Mona, Delores (Pinky), Joanne and Barbara. She is survived by her two brothers Richard and Jack and sisters, Julie and Frances. She also had three sons she loved with all her heart, David, Fred Jr. and Zach along with her blessed grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed. A memorial/picnic will be held for Tina on 10/14/2023 at Ruby Hills Pavillion site #4. The memorial will start at 12:00PM and the picnic will proceed after. Please join us in this celebration of life.
