The story of
n Loving Memory of Christina Sumaya December 25, 1982 – July 5, 2026 With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Christina Sumaya, who peacefully entered the presence of the Lord on Sunday, July 5, 2026, at the age of 43, at San Gorgonio Memorial Hospital. Christina was born on December 25, 1982, in Indio, California, to her loving parents, Luis Sumaya and Sabrina Sumaya. As the youngest of three children, she brought joy, laughter, and a caring spirit to her family from the very beginning. She is lovingly remembered by her siblings, Eric and Melissa, who will forever cherish the memories they shared together. Above all, Christina was a devoted mother. Her greatest joy in life was her three children, Dylan, Jacob, and Sabrina, whom she loved with all her heart. She was also a treasured aunt to ten nieces and nephews, each of whom held a special place in her life. Christina will be remembered for her kind heart, warm smile, generous spirit, and the love she freely gave to those around her. She had a way of making people feel welcomed and cared for, and her presence brought comfort to family and friends alike. Though her time with us was far too short, the impact of her love will remain in the hearts of everyone who knew her. While we grieve her passing, we find comfort in God’s promises and the hope we have through Jesus Christ. As Scripture reminds us: “He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the former things have passed away.” — Revelation 21:4 Christina’s memory will live on through the lives she touched, the love she shared, and the family she cherished so deeply. Though we will miss her every day, we hold on to the hope
