Charles “Chuck” Gene Miller, born on November 13th, 1954, in Everett, Washington, to Alyce and Harold Miller, passed away on the evening of May 6th, 2024, at the age of 69 in Edmonds, Washington. Chuck spent most of his life in Washington and was a resident of Mountlake Terrace at the time of his passing.
He is survived by his son, Seth, and his grandchild, Skye. Additionally, Chuck leaves behind his sister, Pat, her daughter, Kala, and his brother’s son, Collin, as well as several great nieces and nephews.
Chuck was known for his sense of humor and quick wit, which could lighten any situation. He valued friends and family above all else and actively maintained connections with those he cared about—whether through calls, texts, direct messages, emails, or in-person visits. Chuck was an avid sports enthusiast, particularly enjoying watching the Seattle Seahawks, Mariners, and golf. He also was known to golf, bowl, play poker, and billiards.
Chuck earned associate degrees from Peninsula College in Port Angeles. Throughout his life, he held various jobs, including boat building, railroad work, home construction, and bus driving. However, Chuck didn’t want to be remembered solely for his work; he asked to be remembered as a person of his word. If he committed to something, he followed through—even if it meant personal sacrifice.
A celebration of Chuck’s life will take place on Saturday, July 13th, 2024.
