The story of
Charles “Chuck” Eppel was born to Charles and Catherine Eppel on November 27, 1946. He was the first boy among seven sisters and two younger brothers. Chuck grew up in Chenoa, Illinois, on a large farm where everyone pitched in to care for the livestock and walk the bean fields. His daily chores included milking the cows before leaving for school each morning. Chuck and his siblings cherished their time together, creating their own fun on the farm, and they faithfully attended church every Sunday. In 1976, Chuck moved to Arizona to continue his successful printing business, where he served as President and CEO. He was also a proud member of the National Guard Reserve. On November 22, 2005, he married his significant other, Sandra Howerton, the love of his life. On May 2, 2026, Chuck passed on to his final resting place in Heaven, joining his son, Jason Eppel; his parents; and his grandparents. Chuck is survived by his two children, Todd Eppel and Jenna Frisby; his seven siblings; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He will never be forgotten by his family or anyone who knew him personally. His spirit will always be with us. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
