The story of
Cathy Doyle, beloved wife, sister, friend, and trusted real estate professional, passed away Thursday July 24, 2025 , after a courageous battle with cancer. She was 65. Cathy was married to her husband John for 35 years and together for 37—a lifetime filled with love, friendship, laughter, and unwavering partnership. She was not only John’s wife but also his best friend, his rock, and—as Barry White once sang—his everything. Cathy loved deeply and was loved deeply in return. She will remain forever in John’s heart and mind. Those who knew Cathy will remember her for her intelligence, sharp instincts, and emotional grace. She had a gift for making people feel good about themselves and never had a negative word to say about anyone. Her kindness and ability to connect with people from all walks of life were effortless and genuine. With her striking beauty and impeccable sense of style, she carried herself with both elegance and approachability. In her career as a real estate professional, Cathy stood out for always putting her clients first—above the sale, above the numbers. She built relationships, earned trust, and brought integrity to every transaction. She had that rare quality of being both admired and approachable, respected and loved. Cathy was a devoted sister to her brother Marc and sister Elissa. She also shared a deep, unconditional bond with her sister-in-law Sue and her mother-in-law Dolly—relationships she cherished more closely than some bound by blood. One of the most enduring relationships of Cathy’s life was her 40-year friendship with Tony Ann, a chosen sister and soulmate of the heart. Cathy also shared a profound and loving connection with her cousin Orna, who remained uplifting and supportive even while facing her own medical challenges. Their bond was one of mutual strength, warmth, and deep emotional understanding. Cathy was a source of light to friends and strangers alike. Whether through a smile, a warm word, or simply her presence, she had a way of lifting those around her. To her husband, she will always be “CD”—a one-of-a-kind soul who, like their wedding song declared, was simply the best, better than all the rest. Cathy’s life was defined by love, warmth, grace, and strength. There will never be another like her. She is survived by her loving husband John, brother Marc, sister Elissa, sister-in-law Sue, mother-in-law Dolly, dearest cousin Orna, and lifelong friend Tony Ann.
