The story of
Carolyn Talley-Deeter (73) of Mesa, Arizona, passed away peacefully on May 12, 2024. Carolyn was born in Mammoth Springs Arkansas on September 8, 1951 to Roscoe and Vina Talley. She is the fourth child of eight. Her family moved to Klamath Falls, Or. In 1953. They then moved to Modesto, CA in 1963 where she grew up. Independent at the age of 16, in 1967 she moved to Henderson, NV with her best friend and met her 1st husband, they moved to Phoenix, AZ. Divorced after 24 years. She met her second husband Daniel (Dan) Deeter at her favorite casino at the goldfish slot machine. He said her smile and the laughter is what got him hooked. They later married and remained together until his death two weeks before hers. Once retired she enjoyed living out her days with her late husband, Dan. She loved to go to the Casino. She enjoyed her time with her granddaughter Katie. She was loved by many. Carolyn is survived in death by her stepson Wayne and his wife Masami and two grandchildren. Her Sister Betty Fretwell (Alfred) Brookland AR. Barbara Talley Noel, MO and Tom Talley Modesto CA. And many nieces and nephews; too many to count. Predeceased: Father, Roscoe Talley- D:2013 Mother, Vina Morris- D:1986 Husband, Daniel Deeter-D:2024 Sisters: Geraldine Monk- D:2022 and Mary Ashcraft- D:2017 Brothers: Jackey Talley- D:2022 and Wayne Talley- D:1982
