The story of
Littleton, CO - Carolyn Huffstetler Camp, 78, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away peacefully in her home on March 18th, 2026 with family at her side. She was born in Cleveland County, NC, to the late Jack and Eloise Huffstetler and was preceded in death by her husband Eugene Camp and her two sons, Rick Hamrick and Steve Hamrick. She was also preceded in death by her brother David Huffstetler, sister, Jackie Huffstetler Holder, and Sheila Alexander. Carolyn was a kind, loving outgoing woman. She loved her family, her beloved dog "Molly" and travel. Carolyn was always up for taking a road trip. Carolyn enjoyed outdoor BBQ's, Coca-Cola, strawberry shortcake and honeybuns and never met a stranger. Carolyn will be missed by so many. Friends and family alike. She is survived by her daughter: Tammy Ward; Son-in law, Randy Ward, both from Littleton CO; Sister: Brenda Hollifield, Kings Mountain, NC: Granddaughters Jennifer Styers Greene and Amber Helman. Great-grandchildren: Avery Helman, Alyssa, Ethan and Alex Greene. Stepchildren, although Carolyn always thought of them as her own children: Sarah Sevier, Kyle Sevier, and Molly Muranko. Step-grandchildren: Hunter Sevier, Liam, Luke and Landon Muranko. Celebration of life to be held: Date and time to be determined. Love and thanks to all involved with my mom's journey.
