The story of
Carol Sue Wall July 5, 1947 – July 10, 2025 Carol Sue Wall, formerly of Tucson, AZ, and Houston, TX (born in Battle Creek, MI), passed away on July 10, 2025, at the age of 78. Carol was born in Battle Creek and raised in Houston, where she spent most of her life and raised her family. She spent the last 17 years in Tucson, where she loved watching lightning storms and the monsoon season. Small and fragile in appearance, Carol carried a lifetime of burdens with quiet strength and grace. Despite years of battling multiple sclerosis, she was energetic, outgoing, sarcastic, and full of life. As her youngest daughter recalls, she never took life too seriously—always joking, she loved road trips, decorating for every holiday, and was an amazing cook. She found joy in simple things. Her oldest daughter remembers her as a sweet, kind, energetic soul who never looked back and always lived in the present and loved the company of her beloved fur babies . Her son recalls her as calm, kindhearted, and gentle, carrying more than most could imagine. Even her former husband, Robert L. Wall, with whom she shared a lifelong connection since age 14, reflected fondly on her love for horse racing, casinos, and adventure. Carol is survived by her children: Stacy Wall; Jason Wall and his wife Staci and their daughter Adelyn; and Kelly De La Torre and her husband Galileo, along with their children Brandon Cabrera, Chase Cabrera, Delilah De La Torre, Thalía Matamoros and her husband Miguel, Giana De La Torre, and Galileo E. De La Torre. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Lilian Christian; in-laws, Verblee and Helen Wall; and sister-in-law, Becky Wall. Carol’s family will remember her humor, resilience, and the love she shared throughout her life.  Should you wish to send flowers or make a donation, don't. Carol would not want that. Instead, plant something in your garden, eat a bowl of good chili or go for a drive. Enjoy life.
