Blaine Allan Woodard, a devoted husband and martial arts enthusiast, unexpectedly passed away at the age of 50 on Sept 27, 2023.
Born on Nov 30, 1972, Blaine's life was marked by a profound passion for Kenpo Karate, the great outdoors, and the joys of family.
Blaine found his purpose and strength in the world of martial arts. He dedicated countless hours of training, watching, and judging karate and achieved and carried an impressive 4th-degree black belt in the art of Kenpo.
Blaine cherished spending time in the beautiful Rocky Mountains, camping, skiing, and exploring new places, always accompanied by his loving wife and loyal animals. Blaine and Shannon were even married on the side of a snow-packed mountain in 2018. Their shared adventures under the open sky created cherished memories that will live on forever.
Though Blaine did not have children of his own, he was there for his wife's children, Chaise Mitchell and Allyson Blum, and grandson Leland Holloway, all of Colorado Springs, through good times and life challenges.
Blaine's hobbies included: riding motorcycles, comic books, and video games. These hobbies revealed his adventurous spirit and creative imagination.
Blaine is survived by his beloved wife, Shannon, step-children, grandson, sisters, niece, nephew, cousins, friends, and other family members.
Blaine will be remembered for his indomitable spirit and his unwavering love for his wife and family. He leaves behind a legacy of passion, strength, and adventures that will be cherished forever.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations for a scholarship in Blaine's name for future martial artists.
