In Loving Memory of Bill “Pappy” Coonce Bill D. Coonce, 68, of Noblesville, Indiana, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 31, 2026, at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville. Bill was born on September 2, 1957, in Noblesville, Indiana, to David W. Coonce Jr. and Elizabeth M. (Jones) Coonce. Bill was an avid outdoorsman and motorcycle enthusiast. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and riding his motorcycle. Above all, Bill cherished the time he spent with his grandchildren and great-granddaughter. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, David W. Coonce Jr. and Elizabeth M. (Jones) Coonce; and his siblings, Beverly Coonce, Dale Coonce, Dean Coonce, and Michael Coonce. He is survived by his brothers, David (Dee) Coonce III, Allen Coonce, Rick (Susan) Barker, and Gary (Jerilyn) Gambrell; his daughters, Claressa Coonce and Carrie Coonce; his grandchildren, Jacob Coonce, Hailey Booker, and Nate (Meagan) Watkins; his great-granddaughter, Isla Watkins; and several nieces and nephews. Bill, lovingly known as “Pappy,” will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing and loving him. His memory will live on through the stories, laughter, adventures, and countless cherished moments he shared with those closest to him.
