The story of
May 24, 1956 – March 5, 2026 Beecher (Piper), age 69, passed away peacefully on March 5, 2026, surrounded by family. He was born in Minnesota on May 24, 1956, to Beecher Dean Sr. and Maryann and was one of nine siblings in a large and close-knit family. He is survived by his siblings Valerie, Renae, Shelly, and Robbie. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings Teddy, Louie, Cheryl, and Bucky. Beecher also leaves behind many beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins who were an important part of his life. Beecher was married to Diane on July 6, 1974, and together they raised three children: Jeff (Jessica), John (Sheila), and Jenny (Don). On August 24, 1989, he married Linda and became a stepfather to Danielle and Codi. Together they later welcomed a son, Randy (Elizabeth). Beecher was a loving grandfather to Carissa, Cassandra, Haley, Donovan, Christian, John, Connor, Ashlyn, Zev, Zephyr, and Luna. He was also blessed and lucky enough to meet his great-grandchildren, Alaia and John. Beecher spent his entire career working in wastewater management, a field he was dedicated to and took great pride in. His work took him and his family across several states, including Minnesota, North Dakota, Texas, Wisconsin, and Arizona. Outside of work, Beecher loved traveling, fishing, and spending time with family and friends. He also had a special place in his heart for his beloved dog, Abby. Known for his easy smile and welcoming nature, Beecher never met a stranger and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it. Beecher will be remembered as a happy, kind-hearted man who valued family above all else and brought laughter and warmth wherever he went. Even in his final days, he continued cracking jokes and keeping up with friends and family online, just as he always had. His laughter, kindness, and generous spirit will live on in the many lives he touched. Though he will be deeply missed, his stories, humor, and love for family will never be forgotten. A celebration of life will be held Friday, May 29th at the American Legion Post 225 in Forest Lake.
