In Loving Memory of Arturo Lopez
February 6, 1959 – June 26, 2026
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved father, husband, grandfather, brother, and friend, Arturo Lopez, who passed away peacefully on June 26, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family.
Arturo was born on February 6, 1959, in Michoacán, Mexico, and spent most of his life in Phoenix, Arizona. He was a man with a big personality and an unforgettable sense of humor. He had a way of making people laugh, whether it was through his jokes, his stories, or the wild tales he would tell that somehow became more unbelievable every time. Those stories became part of who he was, and they’re memories our family will smile and laugh about forever.
Some of our favorite memories were the simple ones sharing meals, listening to him sing oldies, hearing him talk about his childhood, and spending time together as a family. His laughter was contagious, and he had a way of making ordinary moments unforgettable.
Arturo is survived by his loving wife, Alicia Alfaro Lopez; his children, Erik Lopez, Gabriel Lopez, and Carina Lopez; his grandchildren; and many extended family members and friends who will forever cherish his memory.
While losing him leaves an emptiness that can never be filled, we find comfort in knowing he is finally at peace. We will remember him not for being perfect, but for being our dad, the man who made us laugh, filled our lives with stories, and gave us memories that will stay with us forever.
Dad, thank you for every laugh, every story, every song, and every memory. We love you deeply, we miss you every day, and you will forever remain in our hearts.
Descansa en paz, Papá. Siempre serás amado, recordado y jamás olvidado.
